Knox City Council is home to several endemic and endangered plants. The work features species which are found within a 3km radius of this location. Plants featured include Acacia stictophylla (Dandenong Range Cinnamon Wattle), Eucalyptus fulgens (Green Scentbark), Eucalyptus yarraensis (Yarra Gum), and the Kunzea leptospermoides (Yarra Burgan).
