Founded in 2014, Street Prints originated as a platform for Street Artists to market their works and prints. Over time, this concept underwent an expansion and transformation, encompassing art exhibitions, workshops, mentoring, volunteering, and the inception of Street Prints Mauao – Tauranga's inaugural Street Art Festival.

The mural on the fisheries building harmoniously blends oceanic elements with abstract oversized brush strokes. This fusion captures both the essence of the marine environment and the fevered expression of street art.
