Darwin Street Art Festival. Photo Edition
Painted for the 2024 Darwin street art festival.
Drawing on a diverse array of botanical references, this new work merges the unique flowers of the Stylidiaceae family—native to the Northern Territory—with collected imagery from George's travels. A refreshed palette, incorporating highlight colours from nearby previous artworks, brings a sense of evolution while maintaining a connection to the past. This work blends ideas of the new and old, touching on a universally shared theme: exploring the continuum of time—past, present, and future—through the universal language of flora.
Fine art prints are available at A2 size and are printed on 200 year archival, 310gsm Cotton Rag Etching.
