A result of a collaboration between Pangea seed and Alexandria Real Estate Equities, this work is positioned on the newly created Grad labs, a science research incubator facilitating open access for researchers hosting shared equipment and laboratories.

Reflecting the unique ocean habitants, the work features marine life common to the area including Leopard sharks, Round rays, Garibaldi fish and the Californian Sea lions.
