In its inaugural year, the Urban Canvas festival rolled out across six councils in Melbourne, involving over 36 artists creating murals as part of graffiti mitigation. Brainchild of curator Jah Smith, the festival was host to a variety of events and activations.

George created a work on the Kingston Telstra exchange, featuring the endemic native, the Baw-baw berry (Wittsteinia vacciniacea), which can only be found between Lake Mountain, Mount Donna Buang and the Baw Baw Plateau in Victoria.
